Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had some nice aspects, like clean and attractive rooms, but fell short in some areas. Dining options were a bit hit or miss. Facilities were satisfactory overall.
The hotel location is excellent, within walking distance to all the historic places, but it feels like a tired hotel that even great service can't fully compensate for. The rooms are Spartan and lacking the luxury usually expected from a Ritz Carlton, though the service is commendable. The dining experience can be slow, but the savory pies are a highlight.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were nice, though pretty small with a roller bed, and the staff are extremely friendly and courteous. The location is great and within walkable distance to all the historic places, but the breakfast experience was a huge disappointment in relation to the room price.
